The 1st Houaphanh Coffee Festival and the 2026 Local Products Exhibition

Ms. Chanthachone Vongsay, Vice President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI), was honored to attend as the co-chair of the ceremony. The event also gathered numerous representatives from government agencies and the business community.
This is the first large-scale event officially organized by Houaphanh Province to showcase the potential, quality, and unique identity of Houaphanh coffee, as well as the diversity of high-quality local handicrafts and traditional products. Houaphanh coffee is the crystallization of the region's distinctive climate and the wisdom of the local people, offering a unique flavor profile and possessing immense potential to reach broader domestic and international markets.
Therefore, this event serves as a vital platform to promote and raise awareness among consumers and investors. Simultaneously, it creates opportunities for production cooperatives, enterprises, handicraft workshops, and local residents to exhibit and distribute their signature products; thereby generating income, creating jobs, and elevating the community's grassroots economy.
The event was organized under the slogan: "Connecting Production, Markets, and Tourism Towards Sustainable Development."
The venue featured a total of 45 exhibition booths, including: coffee, processed products, silk, food, beverages, general consumer goods, and financial services. Notably, the organizing committee collaborated with the Houaphanh Province Red Cross Society to set up a humanitarian blood donation station right at the event, spreading a beautiful spirit of mutual affection and solidarity for the community.
