The Hanoiminx Story
Dr. Mai Phu Son, the inventor and founder of Hanoiminx JSC, is a scientist in the field of civil and mechanical engineering with strong background in mathematics. Apart from the research career, he also has passion for developing novel structures, and has been pursuing this since obtaining a PhD degree from Cambridge University (UK) in 2009.
The first twisting puzzles designed by Dr. Mai are named as Hanoiminx and free Hanoiminx with fancy shapes and new rotating mechanisms. Several prototypes were made by CNC-machining and 3D-printing technologies over some years until the final designs were achieved. A national patent was filed in 2011, and officially granted for the invention in 2017. So a year later, Dr. Mai and his friends set up the company in order to mass-produce and commercialise these patented products. This has established the foundation for our team to generate more fascinating puzzles and games in the near future.
We also would like to collaborate with other inventors to develop new original concepts. The dedication for Innovation & High quality & Artistic features (IHA) is crucial for our sustainable development and success.
Last but not least, we warmly welcome international distributors/ wholesalers from any region to cooperate for the ultimate goal of introducing our products to game and puzzle collectors all around the world.

The products are suitable for all ages and abilities, encouraging people to develop their creative IQ skills such as: logic, strategy and spatial orientation.
