Holding the record as Vietnam’s most beautiful and famous cajuput forest, Tra Su is more than just a symbol of An Giang province - it is the "Green Jewel" of the entire Mekong Delta.
The "Green Lung" Of The Seven Mountains Region

Spanning 850 hectares, the Tra Su Eco-tourism Site represents the typical wetland ecosystem of the West Hau River region.
Originally planted in 1983 to reclaim alum soil and prevent upstream flooding, it has evolved into a national-level special-use forest protecting a rich biodiversity:
Fauna: Over 140 species, including rare birds listed in the Vietnam Red Data Book such as the Painted Stork, Oriental Darter, and Short-nosed Fruit Bat.
Flora: Over 150 species, most notably the signature velvet-green carpet of duckweed that covers the water’s surface—a world-class photography backdrop.
